Mater
travelled to Cambodia and suffered an accident very common for the country, She was hit
by anti-personal mine in the most profound part of her heart, and like millions
and millions of Cambodians, she was bound to a “MEKONG” wheelchair and
mutilated her right hand.
Our Mother
wants to be one more among those who suffer the horrors of the war, among those
who can´t find peace in words, among those who have lost hope.
The Virgin
needs us to lend her a hand, the hand that was so violently taken from her and
with which she will no longer be able to work. She needs a job adapted to her
new situation.
Let us be her right hand!!!
She needs
us to push her wheelchair wherever she can be of most help, wherever her
presence is needed.
She asks with
her serene attitude that we accompany her in her solitude, that we transport
her wherever she can´t go on her own. She wants to reach every corner of the
world.
Mater wants
to be human, a Mother, a woman of our times, she wants to be modern and take part
in our world, she wants to participate in our lives, in our wishes, our
desires, pains and suffering, and also in our accomplishments, success and happiness.
She wants
to feel alive. Let us be her hands and feet!!
